About Our Doctor
Meet Dr. Hieu Nguyen
Dr. Hieu Nguyen was born in Vietnam. At the age of eleven, she moved to Florida with her family and resided in South Florida. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Florida (go Gators!) and went on to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry.
As a Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Nguyen makes it her goal to care for her patients by building strong relationships and treating each patient like family. (Fun fact: She is one of eight siblings!). She is committed to ensuring your eye health and vision are well cared for by taking the time to get to know you and understand your unique needs on a personal level. Her hobbies are traveling and hiking. She also participated in numerous medical mission trips to provide eye care in underserved areas, including: Belize, Tanzania, and Vietnam. She plans to participate in more mission trips locally and overseas in the future!
